Are you the person we’re looking for? Our Engineering Services team is seeking a Technical Project Manager with recent experience in Software Development and cross‑functional project management, particularly as it pertains to product release management. You will demonstrate technical skills by assembling and reflashing custom hardware, reproducing issues, collecting logs, debugging, and sanity‑testing fixes and features. You will demonstrate project‑management skills by planning software releases, responding quickly to customer requests, collecting and documenting customer requirements, coming to agreements on deliverable content and schedules, and managing the day‑to‑day project progression. You will have recent software‑development experience (ideally in the Embedded and RTOS market) to direct, manage, and coordinate the delivery and implementation of major or complex projects within cost, schedule, and contract limitations while ensuring customer satisfaction.
What you’ll do
Lead cross‑functional, global teams across engineering, finance, sales, and external partners to deliver technically complex software programs.
Own end‑to‑end program execution—from planning and estimation through delivery—ensuring optimal use of shared engineering resources within time and budget constraints.
Build and maintain detailed project plans and schedules for large, multi‑track initiatives, identifying dependencies and critical paths.
Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate technical and program risks to keep high‑impact projects on track.
Coordinate the breakdown and distribution of work packages across internal teams and external contractors, ensuring clarity, accountability, and delivery alignment.
Act as a central point of contact between software developers, technical leads, contractors, and customers, translating requirements into executable plans.
Monitor progress across the full lifecycle, resolving issues quickly and effectively to meet delivery commitments.
Contribute to or lead the creation of contracts and statements of work with external partners (an asset).
Provide clear, data‑driven status, schedule, budget, and technical reporting to stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Engineering Services customers to align execution with business goals.

Strong understanding of UNIX‑based operating systems and embedded software environments.
Experience leading people, projects, or complex technical initiatives.
Demonstrated strength in planning, prioritization, decision‑making, and problem solving.
Solid knowledge of software development lifecycles, program governance, and contractual processes.
Experience managing software implementation and deployment projects in AGILE environments.
Familiarity with OS microcontrollers and embedded platforms.
Comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects with competing timelines and priorities.
Background in embedded software and RTOS development is highly desirable.
