PositionSummary
Assistwithidentifyingor verifying required maintenance work, interpreting contracts,schedulingand coordinating in-houseor sub-contractor work and ensuring work meets contract specifications.Assistswith ensuring all aspects of thecontract are coordinated and completed ina timely, efficient,effectiveand profitable manner.
The pay range for this position is $28-$33 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Performconditionassessmentsofpavements,signs,guardrails,bridges,vegetationandothercontractrequirements.Assistwith scheduling and coordinating work to be performed.
Completepaperworkperformedbyensurecompliancewithcontractrequirements
Developandmanageperformanceofallpatrolstaff
Assistwithmanaging,monitoringandcontrollinghighwayprojectassetsandmaterials
Identifyopportunitiesforchangesandimprovementsinworkmethods,processes,efficiencyandcostreduction
Accurateandtimelycompletionandentryofworkreportingandtimesheets
Purchasesuppliesandmaintaininganinventoryofallsupplieswithintheassignedpatrolarea
Coordinateandtrackallrequirednewhiretrainingandongoingrequiredsafetyandworkstandardtraining
Assistwithinspection,calibrationandrepairoffleet
Investigateandreportallaccidents/incidents
WorkwithOfficeManagerandHealthandSafetyMangeronallaccident/incidentsthatresultinWSIBclaim
ResponsibleforcompletingandupdatingschedulesforwinterstafftoensurecomplianceoftheCollectiveAgreement.

EducationandExperience
HighSchoolDiploma(minimum),equivalentworkexperiencewillbetakenintoconsideration
Minimumthreeyears’workexperienceinconstructionand/orroadmaintenanceindustry(preferred).
Validdriver’slicenseandhaveanacceptabledrivingrecord(required)
