Job description
Adecco is currently hiring a Warehouse Order Picker for a full-time opportunity in Middleton, NS. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and meeting productivity targets.
In this role, you will be responsible for selecting and preparing customer orders using various systems such as RF scanners or pick lists. You will ensure products are picked accurately, properly packaged, and ready for shipment while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to meet performance standards.
  • Salary: $17.75/hour
  • Location: Middleton, NS
  • Schedule: Monday to Sunday, 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
  • Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
  • Select customer orders using pick lists, RF scanners, or voice-picking systems
  • Accurately pick products by item number, description, and quantity
  • Stack, wrap, and label pallets or cartons according to company standards
  • Transport completed orders to staging or shipping areas
  • Inspect products for damage or quality issues
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies
  • Meet productivity, accuracy, and attendance standards
  • Communicate shortages, damages, or errors to supervisors
Qualifications
  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to lift and move products as required
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
