Are you a highly organized finance Administrative professional looking to secure a stable, long-term contract with a supportive team? We are currently looking for a someone for an 18-month Finance Administrator contract (maternity leave coverage) with a prominent food manufacturing organization in Brantford.

ResponsibilitiesFinancial Administration: Perform daily bank reconciliations, process deposits, and accurately enter customer remittances.
Accounts Payable: Process supplier invoices and execute weekly cheque runs, EFTs, and wire payments.
Accounts Receivable: Maintain aging reports, follow up on past-due accounts, and communicate professionally with suppliers and customers regarding payment statuses.
Payroll & Data Management: Track and enter employee payroll hours daily and maintain updated supplier and customer price lists.
Reporting Support: Assist the Finance Manager with month-end and year-end tasks, including HST filings, customer rebates, and corporate tax preparations.
Cross-Functional Support: Provide administrative backup for front-office duties, including sales order entry and general filing.
QualificationsExperience: A minimum of 2 years of professional office experience with accounting or finance-related tasks.
Education: Post-secondary education in Accounting, Office Administration, or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel (experience with VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables is a strong asset).
ERP Proficiency: Previous experience with Epicor (Epcore) or similar ERP software is preferred; training on system upgrades will be provided.
Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
