Responsabilités principales

Gestion de la relation client

  • Servir de principal point de contact pour les clients concernant les opérations d’importation et d’exportation, le suivi des expéditions et la résolution des problèmes.
  • Développer et entretenir des relations solides avec les clients en assurant une communication proactive et un service à la clientèle exceptionnel.
  • Identifier les besoins des clients et les opportunités d’amélioration des services ou de solutions logistiques additionnelles.

Coordination des importations et exportations

  • Gérer le cycle complet des expéditions internationales, incluant la réservation, la documentation, le dédouanement et la livraison finale.
  • Coordonner avec les transporteurs, transitaires, courtiers en douane et le personnel d’entrepôt afin d’assurer un mouvement précis et ponctuel des marchandises.
  • Préparer et vérifier la documentation d’expédition et de douane (factures commerciales, listes de colisage, connaissements, certificats d’origine, etc.).
  • Assurer la conformité avec les réglementations en vigueur (ASFC, CBP, Transports Canada, C-TPAT, etc.) et les politiques internes.

Soutien opérationnel et résolution de problèmes

  • Identifier et résoudre rapidement les retards d’expédition, les écarts de documentation ou les problèmes de dédouanement.
  • Offrir un soutien opérationnel aux équipes internes et assurer une communication fluide entre les clients et les partenaires logistiques.
  • Suivre, retracer et communiquer l’état des expéditions à l’aide des systèmes de gestion du transport (TMS) et des portails clients.

Gestion des données et rapports

  • Maintenir des données d’expédition et des dossiers clients précis dans les systèmes de l’entreprise.
  • Préparer des rapports de performance et des indicateurs clés (KPI) pour les réunions avec les clients.
  • Soutenir la facturation et la vérification des coûts en s’assurant de l’exactitude de la documentation.

Leadership et mentorat

  • Fournir encadrement et soutien aux coordonnateurs du service à la clientèle juniors.
  • Participer aux initiatives d’amélioration des processus au sein des équipes de service à la clientèle et des opérations.
  • Contribuer à la rédaction de procédures opérationnelles normalisées (SOP) et aux meilleures pratiques pour les comptes clients.

Qualifications

Formation et expérience

  • Diplôme d’études collégiales ou universitaires en commerce international, gestion de la chaîne d’approvisionnement ou domaine connexe.
  • Minimum de 3 - 5 ans d’expérience en transport international, transit, ou service à la clientèle dans le secteur 3PL.
  • Expérience avérée dans la gestion d’expéditions d’importation et d’exportation pour plusieurs modes de transport (aérien, maritime, routier).

Compétences et aptitudes

  • Excellente connaissance des règlements du commerce international, des Incoterms et des procédures douanières.
  • Solides aptitudes en communication, en résolution de problèmes et en organisation.
  • Maîtrise des systèmes TMS, ERP et des applications MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités dans un environnement dynamique.
  • Esprit de service à la clientèle, sens de l’urgence et grande autonomie.

Atouts

  • Certification CIFFA, CSCB ou autre accréditation en logistique.
  • Expérience dans les opérations transfrontalières Canada–États-Unis.
  • Bilinguisme - français et anglais

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the main point of contact for key clients regarding import/export operations, shipment status, and issue resolution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing proactive communication and exceptional customer service.
  • Identify client needs and opportunities for service improvement or additional logistics solutions.

Import/Export Coordination

  • Manage the full life cycle of international shipments, including booking, documentation, customs clearance, and final delivery.
  • Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouse personnel to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods.
  • Prepare and review shipping and customs documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, etc.).
  • Monitor compliance with applicable regulations (CBSA, CBP, Transport Canada, C-TPAT, etc.) and company policies.

Operations Support & Problem Resolution

  • Troubleshoot and resolve shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, or customs issues promptly.
  • Provide operational support to internal teams, ensuring smooth communication between clients and logistics partners.
  • Track, trace, and report shipment progress using transportation management systems (TMS) and client portals.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate shipment data and client records in company systems.
  • Prepare performance and KPI reports for client review meetings.
  • Support invoicing and billing accuracy by verifying charges and ensuring documentation completeness.

Leadership & Mentorship

  • Provide guidance and training to junior client service coordinators.
  • Support process improvement initiatives within the client services and operations teams.
  • Assist management in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for client accounts.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • College diploma or bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 - 5+ years of experience in international freight forwarding, logistics, or 3PL client services.
  • Proven experience managing import/export shipments across multiple modes (air, ocean, ground).

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with TMS, ERP, and MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Assets

  • CIFFA, CSCB, or other logistics certifications.
  • Experience with U.S./Canada cross-border operations.
  • Bilingual - English/French
