The Opportunity

As a Team Lead, Transportation and Infrastructure Engineering, you'll guide multidisciplinary project delivery, strengthen client relationships, and drive local growth while mentoring a team committed to excellence.

Your Impact

In this role, you will:
  • Lead a team of engineering professionals delivering transportation and infrastructure projects throughout New Brunswick.
  • Champion resource planning, recruitment, career development, and performance management to grow a resilient and engaged transportation and infrastructure practice.
  • Drive business development initiatives, build trusted client partnerships, and elevate WSP's market presence in the region.
  • Guide project managers in proactively managing scope, schedule, financials, quality, and delivery using WSP's project management tools.
  • Oversee workload balancing and utilization, supporting inter-office collaboration across Atlantic Canada.
  • Provide senior technical leadership, review and authentication of engineering deliverables, and ensure adherence to WSP quality processes.
  • Collaborate with municipal, provincial and federal governments, regulators, utilities, consultants, and contractors to advance community-shaping infrastructure.
  • Promote a culture of safety, innovation, continuous improvement, and client satisfaction.

The Skills That Set You Apart
  • A degree in Civil Engineering (or diploma in civil technologies) with eligibility for P.Eng. or CET registration in New Brunswick.
  • 10 Years of experience
  • Experience delivering and leading infrastructure projects such as corridor improvements, culvert replacements, drainage systems and or bridge replacements.
  • Strong familiarity with municipal, provincial and federal clients, permitting processes, and infrastructure priorities within Atlantic Canada.
  • Proven ability to mentor, develop, and motivate technical teams while fostering a collaborative culture.
  • Business development experience with demonstrated success building client relationships and growing market share.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $122,900 - $162,800
MB & ON: $112,100 - $154,400
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $111,000 - $147,400
