The bigger picture
We’re looking for 2 team players who thrive on developing relationships and providing creative borrowing solutions to come on board as Business Advisor, Commercial and/or Agriculture in our Lloydminster or Kindersley locations. You will be proactively managing and building your lending portfolio by delivering needs-based, holistic financial advice to our high-value, complex business and/or agriculture members. This includes identifying client needs and facilitating referrals to internal partners for credit and wealth solutions and cash management services to support banking and deposit management.
How you’ll be spending your time
- Providing holistic financial advice and products to our business and/or agriculture members
- Actively grow and manage a portfolio by identifying opportunities and taking action to expand member relationships
- Keeping up-to-date on industry trends to have proactive advice-based conversations fueled by a passion to improve the financial well-being of our business members
- Build and market your personal brand within the local community to develop and sustain a strong, self-generated book of business
- Making sure there’s a healthy balance between opportunity and risk and between growth and profitability for Conexus

The experience you bring
- 5+ years of financial advisory experience
- Thorough understanding of financial statements and assessing risk
- Strong credit underwriting ability
- Proven experience in business development, including identifying, pursuing, and converting growth opportunities
- Post-secondary education in Business, Agriculture, Economics, or Finance is an asset
