Job description
Join Loblaw Digital as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, where your expertise will drive the future of AI technologies in retail. Focus on developing impactful AI systems that solve key business challenges.

In this vital role, you will leverage machine learning and advanced algorithms to create innovative AI applications. As a senior engineer, your analytical skills will be key in building scalable ML products, utilizing extensive datasets, and mentoring less experienced team members in effective development practices.

Key Responsibilities: • Build scalable components within Agentic AI architecture • Construct high-performance AI agents and ML models • Lead and implement best practices in machine learning engineering • Work alongside engineers to deploy ML solutions in production • Clearly document and share technical discussions with stakeholders

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in ML development • Strong Python, SQL, and API integration skills • Experience with GCP tools for machine learning workflows • Understanding of natural language processing and LLMs • Solid foundation in MLOps and ML automation practices
