Position Summary The AI Specialist is responsible for designing, building, and operationalizing artificial intelligence and intelligent automation solutions that deliver measurable business value. This role focuses on moving AI initiatives from concept and pilot into secure, governed, production‑ready solutions.
The AI Specialist works closely with business stakeholders, IT, data, security, and external partners to translate real operational problems into practical AI‑enabled solutions, while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards for security, privacy, and responsible AI use.
This is a hands‑on delivery role, not a pure research or data science position.

Schedule Mon-Fri, 40 hours
What you will do AI Use Case Development & Delivery
Partner with business teams (Finance, Operations, IT, HR, Safety, etc.) to identify and prioritize AI and automation opportunities aligned to business goals.
Translate business problems into well‑defined AI use cases with clear success metrics.
Design and implement AI solutions including:
Predictive and classification models
Support pilots and proofs of concept, then help move successful initiatives into production.
Evaluate AI tools, platforms, and vendor solutions for fit, risk, and value.
Build and enhance intelligent automation using RPA and workflow automation platforms.
Integrate AI capabilities into existing business processes to reduce manual effort and improve decision quality.
Identify opportunities to combine AI, automation, and data to drive end‑to‑end process improvement.
Data & Integration
Work with structured and semi‑structured data sources, including data extraction, preparation, and basic analysis.
Use SQL and APIs to access and integrate data from enterprise systems.
Collaborate with data and application teams to ensure solutions are scalable and supportable.
Governance, Security & Responsible AI
Ensure all AI solutions comply with established data governance, security, privacy, and compliance standards.
Apply risk‑based thinking to AI use cases, including appropriate controls and human oversight.
Support the organization’s AI governance framework and usage policies in practice.
What You’ll Bring
3–6 years of experience in AI, data, automation, or related technical roles.
Experience delivering solutions in an enterprise environment preferred.
Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
Along with the following Skills & Competencies: Technical Skills
Experience working with AI/ML solutions such as predictive models, classification, optimization, and/or generative AI (LLMs).
Hands‑on experience with automation platforms (RPA and workflow automation).
Strong understanding of data workflows, including data collection, cleaning, and integration.
Proficiency using SQL for data exploration and manipulation.
Experience integrating systems using APIs.
Working knowledge of Python and common data/AI libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit‑learn; exposure to PyTorch and LLM frameworks is an asset).
Professional Skills
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Ability to translate technical concepts into plain‑language business outcomes.
Comfortable working across IT, business, and vendor teams.
