Team & Context Our team leads the strategy, engineering, and delivery of technology that enables educator and guest transactions and experiences. We develop cloud‑based applications to support integration across various retail systems, ensuring our platforms are fast, resilient, and observable to meet business demands at scale. Core Responsibilities As a Senior Solution Architect, you will:
Design and own complex technology solutions that enable priority business capabilities and deliver measurable outcomes across multiple systems.
Collaborate with business and technology leaders to define target solution architectures, document designs with clear trade‑offs and evolution considerations, and communicate architectural narratives to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Guide teams through system selection, build‑versus‑buy decisions, and ensure solutions align with domain and enterprise standards.
Apply deep expertise across architecture, software engineering, cloud, and integration to resolve complex challenges and ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, and fit for purpose.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred.
6–10 years of solution architecture, software development, systems engineering, or technical consulting experience.
Proven experience designing multi‑system technology solutions using optimized architectural patterns to ensure scalability, performance, and integration.
Experience researching and evaluating technologies for multi‑system solutions; familiarity with platform selection discussions using defined evaluation criteria.
Demonstrated ability to connect architectural decisions to business objectives and translate technical complexity for non‑technical audiences.
Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud, distributed systems, microservices architecture, and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk.

Compensation & Benefits The typical hiring range for this position is
$132,600 – $174,000 annually
(base pay is based on market location and may vary). Permanent employees may be eligible for a competitive annual bonus program and other rewards programs, subject to eligibility requirements.
