Job description
Step into a pivotal role at Heritage Co-op in Minnedosa, MB as an Accounting Manager, guiding financial operations and ensuring compliance. Your leadership will enhance cooperative values and member service.

In this leadership role, you will manage day-to-day accounting functions while reporting to the Vice President of Finance & Risk. Focus on accurate financial reporting and overseeing audit processes, while promoting a culture of accountability and integrity within your team. Strong management skills and financial acumen are key to achieving success.

Key Responsibilities: • Oversee all financial and accounting operations including payroll • Prepare and review critical financial statements regularly • Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations • Foster a positive team culture and facilitate development • Collaborate with external auditors during year-end processes

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline • At least 6 years of relevant accounting experience • Proven supervisory or management capabilities • Experience in member-owned or cooperative organizations • CPA designation or in-progress is an asset
