Job description
Lead the Parliamentary Internship Programme at uOttawa as the Director, focusing on governance, intern experience, and stakeholder engagement. This role is vital for fostering strong alumni relations and program sustainability.

As Director, you will oversee governance and administration while consulting with the House of Commons and the Parliamentary Internship Alumni Association. You'll manage daily program activities, liaise with MP offices and university staff, and resolve intern issues. Your expertise in organization and mentoring will be instrumental in cultivating a robust alumni network.

Key Responsibilities: • Oversee overall governance and administration of the programme • Manage relationships with stakeholders, including the House of Commons • Organize the internship orientation and program activities • Ensure financial management and fundraising for the programme • Conduct academic quality assurance and oversee research projects

Requirements: • PhD in Political Science or related field • Minimum 5 years in parliamentary studies and management • Experience in fundraising and networking • Strong communication skills in both English and French • Proficient in budgeting and event planning
