Job description
Job Title: Senior SailPoint Developer (IAM / IGA) Location:

Brampton, Canada

Work Model:

Hybrid

Contract Duration:

6–12 Months

Role Overview We are seeking a

Senior SailPoint Developer

with strong expertise in

Identity Governance and Administration (IGA)

to design, develop, and implement SailPoint-based IAM solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep hands‑on experience with

SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ)

and/or

IdentityNow , along with strong skills in application onboarding, API integrations, and identity lifecycle management.

This role requires close collaboration with security, infrastructure, and application teams to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant IAM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

SailPoint Development & Implementation:

Design, develop, and maintain SailPoint IGA solutions using

IdentityIQ (IIQ)

and/or

IdentityNow .

Customization & Configuration:

Build and customize SailPoint components, including:

Workflows and lifecycle events (Joiner, Mover, Leaver)

Rules (BeanShell / Java)

Forms, policies, certifications

Provisioning and deprovisioning logic

Application Onboarding & Integration:

Develop and support integrations using

REST, SOAP, JDBC, SCIM , and directory services such as

Active Directory and LDAP .

Identity Lifecycle Management:

Lead end-to-end implementation of identity lifecycle processes and entitlement management.

Access Governance:

Configure and manage:

Access certifications

Role models and entitlement hierarchies

Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls

Performance & Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve issues related to provisioning failures, aggregation, and system performance.

Platform Maintenance:

Support SailPoint upgrades, patching, and migrations.

Security & Compliance:

Ensure IAM solutions align with compliance standards such as

SOX, ISO, and SOC .

Work with IAM architects, security teams, and business stakeholders; mentor junior developers.

Documentation:

Prepare technical documentation, design artifacts, and support guides.

Required Qualifications

Experience:

10+ years of experience in

IAM / Cyber Security , with at least 5+ years in SailPoint development.

SailPoint Expertise:

Strong hands‑on experience with

SailPoint IdentityIQ (preferred)

Experience with

IdentityNow (nice to have)

Expertise in rules (BeanShell/Java), workflows, lifecycle events

Knowledge of identity cubes and correlation logic

Integration Experience:

Experience with SailPoint connectors and custom integrations

Strong knowledge of

REST APIs, JSON, XML

Programming Skills:

Proficiency in

Java and/or BeanShell scripting

Database Knowledge:

Experience with

Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL

IAM Domain Knowledge:

Strong understanding of:

RBAC, ABAC

Least privilege principles

Segregation of Duties (SoD)

Identity lifecycle management

Directory Services:

Experience with

Active Directory and LDAP

DevOps Exposure:

Familiarity with

Git, CI/CD pipelines , and deployment practices

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

SailPoint certifications ( IdentityIQ / IdentityNow )

Security certifications such as

CISSP, CISM

Experience integrating with

Privileged Access Management (PAM)

solutions
