Job description
Lead internal audit engagements at RBC Capital Markets in Toronto, focusing on enhancing risk management and governance practices. This role leverages data analytics for deeper audit insights while developing audit strategies.

As the Director of Internal Audit for Capital Markets at RBC, you will manage audit teams, ensuring effective execution of audits across diverse areas including Global Markets and Corporate Banking. This role demands strong leadership skills and a collaborative approach to relationship management with stakeholders. You will also oversee the annual audit planning process and drive innovative practices within the team.

Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage internal audit professionals effectively • Review and challenge audit documentation for accuracy and quality • Develop trusted relationships with business stakeholders • Guide and develop the Capital Markets Internal Audit team • Contribute to the annual audit plan with strategic focus

Requirements: • CPA or CFA certification with related degree • Over 8 years in financial institutions or audit • Proven leadership and people management skills • Strong project management and auditing knowledge • Understanding of regulatory and operational risks
