Job descriptionHow You Will Make An Impact Executive-level product leadership role with direct ownership of the growth and expansion of our North American OSA portfolio. Reporting into the VP of Product Management, the SD will serve as the commercial and strategic lead for a flagship suite of products, partnering with senior leaders across Sales, R&D, Engineering, Marketing, and Client Services to translate market opportunity into durable revenue.
Product leaders at this level operate as general managers of their portfolio. They are accountable for P&L outcomes, define multi-year strategy, and act as trusted advisors to the C-suite of the largest North American carriers. The SD will shape where Opensignal competes, how we win, and how we expand share of wallet across existing and net-new accounts.
Responsibilities
Own the multi-year strategic roadmap for the North America OSA portfolio, directly tied to revenue and cost P&L targets
Serve as the primary arbiter of product-market fit for new propositions, making go/no-go calls that shape portfolio investment
Build and defend product and solution business cases, including opportunity sizing, input assumptions, and financial modeling
Engage and consult with C-suite stakeholders at carrier, cable, and broadband clients to translate executive needs into differentiated product strategy
Partner on pricing, packaging, and GTM strategy to accelerate commercialization and expansion across the region
Direct competitive intelligence planning and coordinate cross-functional response to shifts in the market
Define messaging and positioning for new features and releases, anchored in commercial value and buyer insight
Partner with Sales and CA&I leadership to shape pursuit strategy
Oversee product UAT and GTM readiness to ensure flawless launches in-market
Develop a strategy to integrate AI both internally—to accelerate product discovery and data synthesis—and externally, by shipping high-impact features that provide deeper insights into subscriber behavior and market dynamics.
Manage a small team of Product Managers
What You Will Bring
12+ years of progressive experience in product management, commercial strategy, client delivery, or related disciplines, including senior leadership roles
Proven success building, leading, and developing high-performing teams, including hiring senior talent, setting performance bars, and coaching to the next level of leadership
Strong financial and commercial fluency, including unit economics, margin dynamics, contract structures, and ARR/bookings/revenue mechanics — sufficient to own a P&L independently rather than through Finance
Proven success operating across functions as a true partner — advocating for engineering, delivery, and internal teams with the same conviction as for clients, soliciting/acting on feedback, and influencing through alignment vs. pressure
Deep commercial telecoms industry knowledge with significant first- or second-hand experience across wireless, cable, broadband, or mobile devices
Track record of serving as the decision-maker on product-market fit for new products entering a market
Experience leading pricing, packaging, and GTM strategy to drive commercialization of B2B products
Experience with products/solutions that deliver value in multiple geographies
Executive communication skills, including the ability to craft and deliver board- and C-suite-ready narratives
Advanced analytical fluency to support pre-sales and UAT efforts
Experience with Big Data and data-driven products in dev. or delivery capacity
Demonstrated ability to operate with judgment and pace in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
Experience with AI-driven B2B solutions with a "Quality-First" mindset, including experience managing Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) frameworks and rigorous validation processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of products
Benefits
Competitive compensation packages including a long-term equity program
Comprehensive group benefits package and company sponsored retirement savings plan (details depend on your country of work)
Professional development opportunities: education reimbursement, learning allowance, company-sponsored workshops, and more
Generous holiday allowance, sick leave, parental leave, flexibility including Flex Fridays, and the opportunity to work from abroad
Charity matching and paid time off for community volunteering and DE&I program/committees
Regular virtual and in-person events and socials
