Job description
Drive infrastructure excellence with the City of Maple Ridge as an Engineering Inspector 2. This full-time role combines technical inspections with strong communication skills to enhance community projects.

As an Engineering Inspector 2, you'll have a dynamic mix of administrative and technical responsibilities. You will oversee the construction and inspection of public infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and design specifications. You'll interact with developers and contractors, while also preparing essential cost estimates and technical reports.

Key Responsibilities: • Review construction drawings for compliance • Conduct inspections of public infrastructure projects • Identify safety hazards and ensure resolutions • Prepare technical reports and cost estimates • Monitor municipal crews and contractor compliance

Requirements: • Diploma in relevant engineering discipline • Experience in municipal engineering roles • Licensed with Applied Science Technologists of BC • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License in BC • Strong public relations and communication skills
