We value play-based learning, outdoor exploration, responsive parenting, and a screen-free home environment inspired by forest school philosophies. About the Role Approximately ~50 hours/month Split shifts: Early Mornings: ~2.5 hours for school/daycare prep & drop-off at 830am very near to our place Afternoon: ~3 hours after school/daycare pick up (230pm) and play Advanced schedule provided One parent works in healthcare with early morning starts, except no early starts on Wednesdays Other parent works a 2-weeks-on / 2-weeks-off camp schedule, so most hours will be concentrated during those away periods — leaving flexibility for additional work elsewhere if desired Will offer first choice for any extra shifts i.e. when I have overnight call or weekend responsibilities Compensation 💰 $28/hour Payroll managed professionally through Heart Payroll Our Ideal Candidate Gentle and emotionally attuned Focused on socio-emotional development Enthusiastic about outdoor play Reliable and organized Qualifications: Valid CPR certification - reimbursed if needed Driver’s license Clear criminal record check Legally able to work in Canada Please PM if you think we’d be a great match!
