Job description
Direct care services at a Long Term Care Home as the Director of Care. Ensure optimal health and welfare for residents while managing nursing staff and compliance activities. In this leadership position, you will coordinate resident care while adhering to relevant legislation. Key responsibilities include responding to and investigating resident or family concerns, overseeing care conferences, and maintaining the highest quality standards in care plans. Collaboration with nursing staff and proper resource management are vital for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: • Address resident and family concerns effectively • Report and investigate complaints thoroughly • Supervise the Annual Care Conference Program • Uphold high standards of resident care and supervision • Ensure all required equipment and supplies are available Requirements: • 3+ years of management experience • Long Term Care background for at least 3 years • Current Registered Nurse credentials essential • Degree in nursing administration or gerontology required • Diploma or certificate in management preferred Champion high standards in resident care by effectively leading nursing teams and ensuring the wellness of all residents in the facility. #J-18808-Ljbffr
