Job descriptionToday we are confirming our search for a Revenue Accounting Manager to oversee accurate and compliant revenue recognition across our organization. This role is well suited for an experienced accounting professional with strong technical expertise, effective leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams.
This is a hands‑on role that combines technical accounting expertise with strong business partnership to support strategic decision making and continued growth. In addition to the duties typically expected of an experienced accounting professional, responsibilities will include:
Revenue Reporting
Own and manage the end‑to‑end revenue recognition process in accordance with IFRS reporting standards.
Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close and reporting.
Prepare and review revenue‑related journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
Maintain revenue accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Provide monthly analytics and variance commentary that clearly explain drivers of revenue metrics.
Utilize ERP and BI tools to monitor trends and expectations.
Process Design & Control
Create and implement a structured reconciliation and sign‑off framework of review.
Design and implement an internal work structure, with clear separation of preparation, review, and ownership of revenue reporting work.
Create and document standard operating procedures (SOP’s) for the revenue team.
Identify areas for improved efficiency and implement automation tools.
Team Leadership & Business Partnership
Lead a small team of Accounts Receivable Associates and Revenue Analysts.
Provide direction on priorities and review work for accuracy and completion.
Support skills development relating to systems, controls, and general accounting knowledge.
Collaborate with other accounting & finance departments in preparing financial reports, and various ad hoc projects.
Qualifications
University degree in Accounting or Finance.
5 plus years of full‑cycle accounting experience, including ownership of the close process.
CPA designation is considered an asset.
Previous experience implementing automation tools and process improvements considered a strong asset.
Demonstrated management and leadership skills, with experience coaching and developing accounting professionals.
High level of organization and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Clear and professional communication skills.

The approximate salary range for this role is $90,000–$110,000 per year. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including skills, experience, educational attainment, professional designations, internal equity, and other job‑related requirements.
