Job descriptionSr. Software Developer – Backend (AI Platform) Founded in 2017, TripArc is a $750 million privately held company that powers the top travel agencies and tour operators in North America.
We are a technology‑first organization whose deep experience with luxury travel brands, such as Kensington Tours and Travel Edge, gives us real insight into the needs of tour operators and travel agencies today.
Hybrid location requirement : Two days per week on site at our office in Toronto (2 Queen St E). Candidates outside the commutable area or province may be considered for work‑from‑home.
The Role TripArc is building an AI‑powered vacation booking platform that will provide North American travel advisors with 10,000+ pre‑packaged, instantly bookable itineraries. The work spans greenfield and existing platforms. You will build new Angular MFEs, AI agent pipelines, and integrate with a MongoDB–backed catalog infrastructure for the Vacations Platform, while extending and integrating with the mature ADX booking platform and the new Product Builder.
How We Build All developers on the team use AI coding tools—GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or others—as a standard part of their workflow. AI is used to accelerate development, but quality gates, code review culture, and testing discipline remain paramount.
What You’ll Work On Itinerary Catalog & AI Pipelines : Build the Chorus AI agent system—8 agents across Generation and QA pipelines—that auto‑generates, validates, and enriches itinerary content at scale. The system relies on MongoDB and feeds downstream services.
Advisor‑Facing MFEs : Develop Search & Browse and Itinerary Detail experiences that advisors use to find, evaluate, and customize pre‑built trips. Includes the NL Search API connecting MongoDB to ADX, or directly to Product Builder using MCPs.
Trip & Bundle Workflows : Create the Bundle Manager MFE and Make Bundle Payable microservice within TSP—turning an itinerary into a structured, transactable trip with embedded pricing and commission logic.
Existing ADX Platform : Extend and integrate with the .NET‑based ADX platform that is the current daily workhorse for the advisor network.
What We’re Looking For Backend – Senior Developer : Design and build services, pipelines, and data layers that the platform depends on. Comfortable with event‑driven integrations using Azure Service Bus and NServiceBus. Proficient in SQL Server, MongoDB Atlas, RESTful API design, and scalable service patterns.
Core Skills
C# / .NET Core (5+ years)
SQL Server (complex schemas, query optimization)
RESTful API design, Entity Framework
Nice to have: AI pipeline or agent framework experience (LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or similar).
The Tech Stack Azure, .NET Core, C#, MongoDB Atlas, Azure Service Bus, NServiceBus, Docker, GitHub Copilot / Claude / Cursor.
Why This Role The ADX Vacations Platform is poised to generate significant revenue. The decisions you make—on the NL Search API, the AI agent pipeline, and itineraries movement—will shape the platform for years. This is not an inheritance project; you’ll be crafting the foundation.
Compensation Competitive package with a performance‑based reward approach. Base salary range: $115,000 – $125,000. Actual compensation may vary by local market, geography, and experience.
Accessibility & Accommodations We are committed to providing employment accommodation in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act. If you require accommodation due to a disability at any stage of our hiring process, please let us know.
The Range Group may use artificial intelligence throughout the recruitment process to assist with screening and is ultimately guided by human judgment. We thank all candidates for their interest; only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
