  • Work Location Edmonton Corporate Office About the Role Job Title : Senior Audit Analyst (Finance Leadership Development Program) Location : Remote Department : Internal Audit (Initial Rotation) Duration of First Rotation : ~12-18 months Program Length : Multi‐year rotational program across Finance, with first rotation in Internal Audit About the Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) is designed for ambitious, curious, and driven individuals who want to make an impact from day one.The FLDP is a multi‐year, immersive experience that exposes you to several critical Finance disciplines. You’ll start your journey in Internal Audit , where you’ll develop a deep understanding of our business operations, risks, controls, and strategic priorities. After the initial rotation, you’ll gain hands‐on experience through rotations in areas such as : * FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Segment Finance & Business Partnering Corporate Accounting This is more than a rotational program — it’s a launchpad for future Finance leaders at SNDL. An Experience Designed for Modern Talent Collaborative culture with opportunities to lead initiatives early.* Support for professional development including CPA, CIA, CFA, and other recognized designations, if identified as part of personal development plan Job Overview - What You’ll Do in Your First Rotation (Internal Audit) As a Senior Analyst FLDP Associate reporting into the Senior Director, Audit & Internal Controls, you will : * Participate in end‐to‐end audit engagements — planning, testing, reporting, and presenting findings.* Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls, and risk management.* Collaborate with teams across the organization to understand operations, challenges, and emerging risks.* Participate in projects to implement agentic AI and robotic process automation to gain efficiencies in Audit & Internal Controls workstreams* Support data‐driven audit approaches using modern tools and techniques.* Gain a 360‐degree view of the organization, setting a strong foundation for your future rotations. Qualifications Required 2+ years of relevant experience in finance and accounting* Demonstrated leadership and / or teamwork experience* Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills* Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment with strong attention to detail* Willingness and ability to travel as required* Successfully complete required background checks Nice-to-have Professional designation (e.g., CPA, CIA, CFA)* Big Four firm experience* Experience with SOX, COSO 2013, and COBIT frameworks* Experience with large-scale ERP and HCM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics F&O, Business Central, Workday)* Experience with agentic AI tools, digital assistants, or AI-enabled workflow optimization* Experience with robotic process automation (RPA) platforms (e.g., Power Automate) Career Path & Growth Graduates of the FLDP will be uniquely positioned for success across the Finance organization.
