Job description
Experienced Nanny Wanted – Flexible Schedule (Up to Full-Time) We are a professional family seeking a warm, experienced, and reliable nanny to care for our 10-month-old child. This role offers flexible hours (part-time to full-time) and is ideal for someone who is confident in infant care and enjoys being part of a supportive, respectful home environment. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and responsibilities. ⸻ About the Role You will be caring for a happy, active infant in a home that values routine, responsiveness, and thoughtful child development. Our child is currently transitioning through a mix of bottle, breastfeeding, and solids, so comfort with feeding at all stages is important. We are looking for someone who is: Naturally patient, attentive, and calm Comfortable following a structured routine, while adapting to developmental changes Aligned with parent-led preferences on care and routines Proactive and takes initiative, maintaining a tidy, well-organized environment without needing direction ⸻ Key Responsibilities Full infant care, including feeding (bottle solids) and daily routines Preparing simple, healthy meals for the child Regular diaper changes and attentive hygiene care Engaging in age-appropriate play and developmental activities Running errands (e.g., groceries, supplies) with the child Maintaining a clean and organized environment, including tasks such as: Dishes and bottle cleaning/sterilization Tidying and organizing child-related areas Laundry for the child General household upkeep (e.g., vacuuming, resetting spaces) ⸻ Requirements Prior experience caring for infants (10 months or younger preferred) Infant CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Valid driver’s license with clean driving record Access to a safe, well-maintained vehicle (car seat preferred; can be provided) Criminal record check (we are happy to assist with this process) ⸻ Additional Details Flexibility for occasional evenings and weekends is appreciated Openness to travel with the family (e.g., work trips or vacations) is an asset Strong communication and professionalism are highly valued ⸻ Our Environment We aim to create a calm, respectful, and supportive working relationship.
