The Opportunity JOT Digital is looking for an experienced, results-driven Project Manager to join our team in a full-time, permanent capacity. This is a hands‑on delivery role — you will own the planning, execution, and day‑to‑day management of complex technology consulting engagements across our practice areas, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP implementations, cloud advisory, and software development projects.
You will be embedded in real client relationships, working alongside JOT’s ERP, Cloud, and Dev practice leads to keep projects on track, on budget, and on scope — from kickoff through go‑live and post‑go‑live support. You will report to JOT’s Senior Director of Operations & Client Experience.
This role is well‑suited to a PM who is comfortable working across a diverse project portfolio, can engage credibly with both technical teams and executive stakeholders, and takes ownership of delivery from start to finish.
Position details: Full-time, permanent | Calgary-based hybrid | Monday–Friday, with occasional after‑hours support as required.
Primary Responsibilities
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with practice leads, senior management, and client stakeholders.
Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and milestone frameworks.
Establish project governance, communication cadences, and reporting structures at engagement outset.
Coordinate JOT consultants and any third-party vendors for seamless delivery across concurrent engagements.
Manage project changes and ensure delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
Identify and mitigate risks proactively; escalated issues with clear recommendations.
Produce weekly status reports, budget burn summaries, risk and issue logs, and change order documentation.
Track NTE budgets and flag change order triggers in collaboration with practice leads.
Analyze project financial performance and recommend adjustments as needed.
Run client meetings including status calls, steering committees, and executive touchbases.
Build and maintain strong relationships with client project teams and executive sponsors.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the engagement lifecycle.
Support resource scheduling and utilization planning across the JOT project portfolio.
What You Bring Required
5+ years of project management experience in a technology consulting or professional services environment.
Direct, hands‑on experience delivering ERP implementations — Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Microsoft Dynamics GP, or equivalent (SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Sage, Acumatica, or similar).
Proven ability to manage project financials: budget tracking, burn rates, NTE monitoring, and change order management.
Excellent client-facing communication skills — comfortable presenting to executives and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities.
Proficiency with project management tools (Zoho Projects, Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, or similar).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience.
Nice to Have
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central specifically (beyond legacy NAV/GP).
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, SharePoint, Azure DevOps).
Exposure to cloud advisory or software development projects alongside ERP delivery.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of cloud technologies and platforms.
