Key Responsibilities
Integration strategy, planning, and execution by providing project management support, and executive communication
Carve-out or divestiture strategy, planning, and execution, supporting operating model design, and transaction services agreement development
Synergy/value realization identification, validation and tracking
Development of Transitional Services Agreements
Development of M&A and integration playbooks
Support client engagement teams execute integration or carve‑out services
Support key client decision makers in developing and executing their transaction strategy to secure deal value
Assist in identifying risks and issues related to integration planning, timelines, and functional areas
Qualifications
Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA, PMP and CMC) and / or advanced graduate degree in business, e.g., MBA, or related programs such as Master’s in Finance / Accounting with
outstanding academic achievement from a top academic institution
5-8 years of experience in professional services organization or related / career tracks; previous management consulting experience is a strong asset
Experience related to mergers, acquisitions, and divestiture transactions; solid understanding of integrations, separations and due diligence
Experience working in transactions with private equity, or strategic acquirers / sellers
Proven track record of managing projects, particularly in diligence / integration / divestiture space
Excellent analytical skills and confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights
Excellent communication skills to clients at all organization levels, including executive, VP, director, and operational management
Experience presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders
Experience managing teams on multiple projects and providing direction to team members
Experience in coaching and developing people
Ability to travel within Canada and the US
