Job description
Global Relay’s Product Management team executes product strategy, prioritizes roadmaps, and defines enhancements for our enterprise archiving services. This role focuses on the Reporting Product Management team, where you will own the core data platform, lead platform capabilities, and shape shared services that enable other teams to ingest, organize, and surface insights across the organization.

Your responsibilities

Own the end-to-end delivery of your components and features for Reporting.

Serve as the primary product expert for the components you manage.

Collaborate with senior product management, sales, support, clients, and other TPMs to create and manage backlogs and contribute to the product roadmap.

Lead the strategic development of new features and enhancements, including roadmap ownership.

Understand the design, business logic, and technical architecture of platform components and how they integrate within the larger system.

Translate product roadmap initiatives into requirements, models, workflow diagrams, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Identify and coordinate cross-component dependencies throughout development.

Remove obstacles with Product & Program Management, Development, Architecture, and other departments to keep initiatives on schedule.

Support Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Provisioning, Professional Services, Documentation, Training, and Technical Support through training, documentation, announcements, and other release activities.

Prioritize and refine your team backlog.

Attend regular sync-ups with your product manager and other TPMs.

Lead sprint planning for your Agile team(s).

Facilitate daily stand‑ups, grooming, demos, retrospectives, and other Agile team meetings.

About you

3‑5 years of product leadership experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner.

Proven ownership of complex, data‑heavy products at scale from concept to launch.

A deep understanding of the data lifecycle, especially ETL, high‑scale integrations, and data processing for SaaS.

Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Experience driving cross‑team initiatives and collaborating across the organization.

Strong skills in requirement elicitation, analysis, domain modelling, use‑case modelling, workflow design, and documentation.

Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.

Nice to have

Technical foundation in Engineering, Data Architecture, or a related role before transitioning into Product.

Experience with Data, Reporting, and Business Intelligence products and services.

Experience with reporting, analytics, and large‑scale data concepts.

Experience implementing and overseeing APIs.

Experience with large‑scale performance and system scalability.

Compensation British Columbia – Base salary range: $90,000 CAD – $130,000 CAD. Compensation is determined by evaluating expertise, skills, education, and background. The package includes extended health benefits, virtual healthcare, a wellness allowance, annual vacation days that increase with tenure, paid sick days, a maternity/parental enhancement program, a bonus, an RRSP contribution matching program, and a subsidized meal program for Vancouver‑based employees.
