The Opportunity:
The Data Steward is accountable for ensuring that data assets are accurate, consistent, secure, compliant, and fit for purpose across their lifecycle. This role acts as the bridge between business, regulatory, and technical teams, maintaining high-quality data that supports the organization.
A Day in the Life (What you will do here):
Build deep knowledge of data creation processes, including source systems, business workflows, and data lineage, to support effective data governance
Own and steward assigned
critical data domains
(e.g., Clinics, product, health care professionals)
Define and maintain
business data definitions, metadata, and data standards
Monitor and improve
data quality
through controls, metrics, and issue resolution
Ensure data complies with
regulatory, and privacy requirements
Partners with operational subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop a deep understanding of the detailed business processes that create, modify, maintain data and resolve data issues
Partner with Data Owners, Data Engineers, and Business SMEs to
Champion data governance best practices across the organization
Other duties as assigned by your manager
What you need to ensure you are set up for success:
Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, data management, or related field.
3–5 years of experience with customer or account data in healthcare, pharma, or medical devices.
Strong understanding of data integrity and customer‑master processes.
Proficiency with CRM/MDM platforms
Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
Comfort working with databases and SQL language.
Experience in a scaling or fast changing organization.
Knowledge of HCP/HCO data standards and industry identifiers.
Experience with system implementations, integrations, or migrations.
