About the Role
Hybrid - 3 days onsite, Montreal, Canada.
You’ll lead the data engineering strategy and roadmap on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), building scalable, reusable, and high-performance data solutions across domains like commerce and supply chain.
You’ll collaborate closely with product, analytics, architecture, and business teams while leading and mentoring engineering talent.
🚀 What You’ll Do
• Own and drive the data analytics roadmap on GCP.
• Design and build scalable data pipelines (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Run, Composer, etc.).
• Develop modular data models and warehousing solutions.
• Lead API design and data access frameworks.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Mentor and lead a team of data engineers.
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver impactful data solutions.
🧠 What We’re Looking For
• 10+ years in Data Engineering / Data Warehousing / Analytics.
• 4+ years working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong expertise in BigQuery, ETL pipelines, and data modeling.
• Experience with Python, SQL, APIs, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Background in data governance, data quality, and performance optimization.
• Proven experience leading and mentoring teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to have:
• GCP Data Engineer Certification
• Experience with Power BI / Tableau
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts
