Role Overview The Senior QA Engineer is a high‑impact individual contributor responsible for the end‑to‑end quality of Questbank’s Everyday Banking and B2B Deposits ecosystems. You will own hands‑on technical validation, AI‑assisted test automation, and domain expertise across current accounts, savings products, B2B deposit accounts, and payment flows, ensuring seamless integration across mobile, web, core banking (Temenos T24), and third‑party platforms.
With 5–7 years of QA experience and a strong fintech/banking domain background, you will lead automation‑first testing strategies powered by AI tooling (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude). You will validate complex flows including account originations, B2B onboarding, deposit lifecycle events, payments (domestic & cross‑border), and open banking integrations. You will leverage Datadog for observability, manage defects in JIRA, and champion quality across CI/CD pipelines on GCP/AWS.
Responsibilities
Lead Automation & AI Testing: Design, build, and maintain an automation‑first test framework (Playwright/Appium) across all banking flows, aggressively leveraging AI tooling (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude) for test script generation, data generation, and intelligent test selection within CI/CD pipelines.
Execute Domain Validation: Perform end‑to‑end testing for Everyday Banking and B2B Deposits, including critical processes like account originations, payments, and Temenos T24 core banking integrations. Validate data integrity using SQL and ensure all testing meets AML/KYC/FINTRAC regulatory requirements.
Ensure Observability & CI/CD Quality: Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines with quality gates, use Datadog for root‑cause analysis on failures and production incidents, and manage the full defect lifecycle in JIRA. Provide technical mentorship to junior analysts and collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to define acceptance criteria and improve overall QA strategy.
