Job description
Join L3Harris in Hamilton, Ontario, as a Lead Systems Architecture Engineer. Drive systems engineering excellence, managing requirements and fostering innovation in defense technology solutions.

This senior role focuses on leading the Systems Requirements and Architecture Engineering group within the WESCAM division. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with project specifications, supporting best practices, and maintaining high-quality technical standards. This position requires a deep understanding of requirements methodology, integration practices, and strong management skills.

Key Responsibilities: • Oversee requirements engineering for integrated systems and products • Manage and lead Systems Requirements and Architecture Engineering group • Champion best practices in requirements development and management • Conduct technology assessments and define process improvements • Establish and maintain a comprehensive requirements database

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree with 9 years or Master’s with 7 years experience • In-depth knowledge of requirements methodology and military standards • Proficiency in DOORS and MBSE; Lean Six Sigma knowledge is a plus • Strong communication, project, and technical management skills • Proven capabilities in requirements analysis and derivation
