Your Role Reporting to the
Senior Director , the Organizational Effectiveness Specialist is the “engine room” of business and people processes. Working in close collaboration with the Workforce and Organization Design Specialist, you will ensure that our people data is accurate, our regions are supported, and our systems (UKG) are optimized to reflect the firm's evolving structure. This is an ideal role for a detail‑oriented professional who excels at the intersection of HR data, payroll coordination, and system administration.
This is a 12‑month contract position. This is a hybrid role requiring three (3) days in office.

Primary Responsibilities
Org Design and Effectiveness Support: Partner with the Workforce and Organization Design Specialist to maintain organizational charts and position mapping; support the drafting and categorization of job descriptions for firm‑wide evaluation.
UKG Process and Data Configuration: Serve as the functional lead for regional HRIS requests; execute job title additions, reporting line changes, and organizational structure updates within the UKG ecosystem.
Regional Liaison & Data Integrity: Act as the primary bridge between regional HR and Payroll teams to troubleshoot system issues and conduct regular audits to ensure employee data consistency and alignment with payroll outputs.
HR Tool & Framework Maintenance: Support the lifecycle of HR frameworks (Recruitment, Performance, Succession) by ensuring all tools and documentation comply with internal policies and legal standards.
Data Collection & System Testing: Assist in the development and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) of HR data collection forms and new system modules (UKG/WFM) to ensure all inputs are accurate and meet organizational requirements.
Bilingual Documentation: Manage official translations (English/French) for job titles, position descriptions, and HR frameworks to ensure seamless national alignment.
Project Coordination: Provide dedicated administrative support for special projects, including data cleansing, milestone tracking, and cross‑functional project updates.
Required Knowledge And Experience
HR Systems & Professional Services Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR Administration, HR Operations, Payroll, or HRIS role. Experience within a Law Firm or Professional Services environment is an asset.
Technical Mastery (UKG & Excel): Hands‑on experience with UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) or a similar HRIS is a strong asset. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (V‑Lookups, Pivot Tables) and high attention to detail with complex data sets are required.
Bilingualism & Communication: Proficiency in both English and French is highly preferred to support our national team.
Education Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Pay Range $80,000 to $105,000. Pay range to be commensurate with experience.
