and play a pivotal role in driving business strategy, organizational transformation, and competitive advantage across our Canadian Manufacturing & Supply operations.
This is not a traditional HR role. You will serve as a
strategic architect and enterprise leader
who sits at the intersection of business strategy and people transformation. Partnering directly with country/regional leadership teams and senior executives, you'll shape business direction, design future-ready organizations, and lead large-scale transformations that enable long-term growth and operational excellence.
Operating with significant complexity and influence, you'll drive strategic workforce investments, lead transformational talent and culture initiatives, and advise on high-stakes decisions that define our competitive positioning in the market.

Strategic Accountabilities Business Strategy & Enterprise Leadership
Shape business strategy
as a strategic thought partner to senior executives, influencing direction through deep people, organizational, and culture insights
Translate complex business imperatives into integrated
people and organizational strategies
that drive enterprise and Global Business Unit (GBU) priorities
Serve as the
voice of Manufacturing & Supply
in enterprise People & Culture forums, ensuring business needs influence global policy and solution design
Provide strategic counsel on the labor environment, workforce trends, and their impact on business objectives and competitive positioning
Organizational Transformation & Design
Lead and architect large-scale organizational transformations , including restructures, operating model redesigns, and strategic workforce shifts
Design future-ready organizational structures, decision rights, and operating models that enable agility, innovation, and sustainable growth
Champion and deploy Sanofi's change methodology, coaching senior leaders to effectively lead, communicate, and sustain transformation
Drive organizational effectiveness through strategic interventions that enhance collaboration, speed, and business performance
Strategic Workforce Planning & Future of Work
Partner with leadership to develop
long-term workforce strategies
that anticipate capability needs, market shifts, and evolving business models
Lead scenario planning and strategic workforce modeling to inform critical make/buy/build decisions
Provide thought leadership on the
future of work , including AI impact, new ways of working, and evolving talent ecosystems
Integrate competitive intelligence and market insights to ensure workforce strategies drive competitive advantage
Enterprise Talent Strategy & Leadership Pipeline
Develop and execute
enterprise-level talent strategies
for Manufacturing & Supply, including executive succession planning and future capability building
Coach senior leaders on talent assessment, pipeline development, and strategic talent moves that accelerate business results
Drive bold, differentiated talent decisions that advance diversity, cross-functional mobility, and high-potential development
Implement advanced assessment frameworks to identify leaders capable of operating in complex, matrixed, and alliance-driven environments
Culture Transformation & Leadership Effectiveness
Accelerate the
Take the Lead culture transformation
through strategic leadership interventions and executive coaching
Coach senior executives on team effectiveness, leadership behaviors, organizational health, and change leadership
Design and deploy culture initiatives that drive inclusion, innovation, and high performance
Leverage organizational diagnostics and culture analytics to shape targeted interventions
Digital HR, AI & Workforce Analytics
Champion the adoption of
AI and digital HR technologies
to enhance decision‑making, employee experience, and operational efficiency
Leverage advanced people analytics and workforce data to generate strategic insights that shape organizational health and talent strategies
Use predictive analytics to inform workforce planning, retention strategies, and talent investment decisions
Drive digital fluency across the leadership team, enabling data‑driven people decisions
Strategic Talent Acquisition & Market Competitiveness
Anticipate critical talent needs and partner proactively with Talent Acquisition to shape sourcing strategies and employer brand positioning
Challenge hiring decisions to ensure diversity, quality, and strategic fit with long‑term business needs
Leverage competitive intelligence and market benchmarking to inform talent strategies and compensation positioning
Performance, Rewards & Total Rewards Strategy
Lead performance and total rewards processes with strategic impact, ensuring differentiation and alignment with business priorities
Provide strategic counsel on complex compensation decisions, retention strategies, and incentive design
Promote a high‑performance culture through effective performance differentiation and talent investment
High-Stakes Employee Relations & Risk Leadership
Serve as escalation point for complex, high‑risk employee relations matters requiring strategic judgment
Partner with Legal, Compliance, and People Excellence on sensitive matters, investigations, and risk mitigationProvide strategic guidance on separations, restructurings, and labor relations matters with enterprise impact
Leadership Development & Organizational Capability
Partner with senior leaders to design
capability roadmaps
that build future‑ready skills and leadership bench strength
Provide executive coaching and leadership development solutions that accelerate leader effectiveness
Drive strategic learning investments that build competitive organizational capabilities
About You Education
Bachelor's degree required;
Master's degree preferred
(MBA, MHRM, or related field)
Experience
Minimum 10+ years
of progressive HR experience with demonstrated strategic impact
Proven track record
advising and influencing senior executives and C‑suite leaders on business strategy and organizational transformation
Demonstrated success
leading large-scale organizational transformations, restructures, or strategic change initiatives
Deep experience in
matrixed, complex environments
with strong stakeholder management and enterprise influence
Experience in
R&D, manufacturing, or supply chain environments
strongly preferred
