Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Mechanical Designer located in Woodbridge, ON. The Senior Mechanical Designer will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings, developing innovative mechanical designs, and collaborating with teams on research and development projects. Additional responsibilities include utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify designs and ensuring that all mechanical systems meet project specifications and standards. Preferred software: Solidworks

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Technical Drawings, and Conceptual Renderings
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles
• Experience with Solidworks, Autocad
• Background in Research and Development (R&D) for creating and improving design solutions
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Relevant industry experience in exhibit or fixture manufacturing is an asset
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design or a related field is highly preferred
