Sr. HR Talent Manager

We’re looking for a Sr. HR Talent Manager to join our People & Culture team at INNOCEAN Canada!

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on Senior Manager role at the heart of our People & Culture team. You’ll work closely with the VP, People & Culture to shape and deliver our talent strategy from attraction to development and retention while partnering across the business to build programs that support long-term growth and exceptional employee experiences.

The Role

Reporting to the VP, People & Culture, you will lead our talent strategy across attraction, development, and retention. You are both a strategic thinker and a hands-on builder — someone who can design programs and bring them to life.

You’ll partner closely with leaders across the business to identify talent needs, build future pipelines, and create development pathways that support long-term growth.

Job Overview

The Sr. HR Talent Manager is responsible for attracting, developing, and retaining top talent to meet the organization’s workforce needs. This role focuses on talent acquisition, employee development, succession planning, and building a strong employer brand to support overall business goals.

What your typical day will look like

• Develop and implement strategic talent acquisition plans to attract highly qualified candidates.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, universities, and industry networks.
• Design and execute employee development programs to enhance skills, engagement, and retention.
• Assist with workforce planning and succession strategy to ensure leadership continuity.
• Conduct employee surveys on an ongoing basis
• Collaborate with department heads to identify talent gaps and growth opportunities.
• Monitor and analyze talent metrics to guide decision-making and improve processes.
• Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with company values and diversity initiatives.
• Oversee employer branding efforts to attract and retain a diverse and talented workforce.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR best practices.

The Knowledge and Experience you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in talent management, recruitment, or HR roles.
• Strong understanding of HR practices, labor legislation, and talent acquisition technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work strategically and collaboratively with senior management.
• Proficiency in HR software (BambooHR, ADP Workforce etc)

Target Salary: $85,000-$90,000 CAD
