Job Description: Account Manager
About the Role
Third Eye Insights is looking for a highly experienced Account Manager to lead the strategy and management of client retainer accounts across brand, marketing, and social media.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, client leadership, creative ideation, and project management. The Account Manager is responsible for ideating and translating brand strategy into actionable campaigns and content plans, overseeing execution across the creative team, and ensuring every deliverable aligns with the brand vision and strategic objectives.
In our agency structure, this role functions as the front-facing strategic lead on client accounts.
You will work closely with the Third Eye Insights team to guide the strategic direction of accounts, manage timelines and deliverables, and ensure that campaigns, content, and digital initiatives are executed at the highest level.
This role requires someone with deep expertise in brand growth, campaign strategy, and digital marketing, who understands how to grow brands through social and digital ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
Client Strategy & Account Leadership
Serve as the strategic lead and primary point of contact for assigned client accounts.
- Lead client meetings and ideate/present strategy, campaign ideas, and content direction
- Translate brand strategy into clear marketing initiatives, campaigns, and content plans
- Guide clients through strategic decisions related to brand positioning, messaging, and digital growth
- Ensure client accounts stay aligned with the overall brand strategy and business objectives
- Identify opportunities for new campaigns, initiatives, or strategic pivots
Campaign & Marketing Strategy
Develop strategic frameworks that guide content, campaigns, and brand growth.
- Build campaign concepts and marketing initiatives that support brand awareness and revenue growth
- Identify digital growth opportunities across social media, content marketing, and digital platforms
- Conduct competitor and industry research to inform strategy
- Analyze brand positioning and recommend improvements or strategic pivots when necessary
- Ghostwriting thought leadership articles, blog posts, or founder content when required
- Writing and refining marketing copy across digital channels, including social media, ad campaigns, email marketing, websites, and landing pages
Project & Deliverable Management
Oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of all work associated with client retainers.
- Translate strategic direction into clear deliverables and project timelines
- Manage project workflows and track deliverables across internal teams
- Ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards
- Coordinate internal team members including designers, editors, and social coordinators
- Maintain organized project documentation and asset management
- Monitor account progress and proactively address potential bottlenecks
Social Media Strategy Oversight
Guide the strategic direction of social media efforts while delegating execution to coordinators.
- Develop social media strategies designed to grow brand visibility and engagement
- Define content pillars and storytelling angles
- Review and approve social calendars created by Social Media Coordinator
- Monitor content performance and recommend improvements
- Ensure content strategies support broader marketing and campaign initiatives
Team Collaboration & Leadership
Act as the strategic lead coordinating between clients and the internal creative team.
- Delegate tasks to Social Media Coordinators and execution teams
- Provide clear direction, feedback, and approvals throughout project cycles
- Support creative teams in delivering high-quality assets aligned with strategy
- Maintain smooth communication between clients and internal teams
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in brand strategy, digital marketing, or social media strategy
- Proven experience growing brands through digital marketing and social media
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Strong understanding of content marketing, campaigns, and brand storytelling
- Experience managing client relationships and leading strategic discussions
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Ability to translate strategy into actionable marketing plans
- Experience coordinating creative teams including designers, editors, and content creators
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment managing multiple brands
- Experience using tools such as Asana, Slack, Google Drive, and social media management platforms (or equivillents)
