Job description

InVision is a Professional Recruitment Firm involved in Engineering, Industrial/Skilled Trades, Information Technology and Professional Services within Canada and the U.S. We have a successful track record working on both small and large recruitment projects, across North America.

Our client, a leading electronic manufacturing firm, is currently looking for a Junior HR Director to join their growing team.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of HR strategies across multiple offices in alignment with overall business objectives
  • Assist in managing employee relations issues with sound judgment, confidentiality, and escalation when required
  • Contribute to talent acquisition strategies to attract qualified and diverse candidates
  • Help foster a performance-driven culture through goal setting support, feedback processes, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Support the development and administration of compensation and benefits programs aimed at employee attraction and retention
  • Assist in overseeing payroll processes across regions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations
  • Ensure HR practices comply with employment laws and regulatory requirements across operating regions
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and systems
  • Supervise and support HR & Administration team members, providing coaching and day-to-day guidance
  • Assist in overseeing office administration, facilities, and workplace operations to maintain an efficient environment
  • Support departmental budgeting activities, including tracking expenses and reporting variances
  • Handle confidential employee and organizational information with discretion and professionalism
  • Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally on a regular basis to support multi-site HR operations, office support, and leadership initiatives across global locations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; CHRP/CHRL/CHRE considered an asset
  • 5–10 years of progressive experience in human resources and/or administrative functions
  • Emerging leadership experience with exposure to team coordination or supervision
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience supporting budgets, reporting, or cost tracking considered an asset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with good judgment in decision-making
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with HRIS or office management systems
  • Effective time management skills with ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle preferred
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
  • Possesses a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
  • Willing and able to travel internationally as required
