Job description
Drive impactful philanthropic growth as the Vice President of Philanthropy & Communications at Fred Victor Centre in Toronto. Spearhead fundraising and enhance community relations to support vital services.

In this executive leadership role, you will be responsible for propelling Fred Victor’s mission to aid individuals facing poverty and complex challenges. Your expertise in fundraising and communication will help strategize initiatives that deepen donor connections and promote organizational visibility. Collaboration with the Executive Team and Board will guide impactful community engagement efforts.

Key Responsibilities: • Oversee integrated fundraising and communications strategies • Foster major donor relationships and secure significant gifts • Manage a high-performing fundraising team across multiple functions • Shape public engagement initiatives to enhance Fred Victor’s profile • Act as the primary representative to key community stakeholders

Requirements: • Significant experience in leadership roles within fundraising • Demonstrated track record in major gift strategies • Knowledge of fundraising best practices and compliance • Deep commitment to equity, diversity, and anti-oppression • CFRE credential or similar professional background preferred
