With a strong reputation in the market, the company emphasizes quality, reliability, and long-term client relationships.Seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join the Finance & Accounting team. This role carries full ownership of the books and general ledger for one of the three international entities, while collaborating as part of a cohesive finance team. Looking for a professional with strong technical accounting expertise—someone who can think critically, identify and investigate discrepancies, determine the appropriate journal entries, and ensure financial accuracy with integrity. Key Responsibilities:Lead the month-end, quarter-end and Year End close for your assigned entity, including preparation of income statements, balance sheets, sales volume, and margin analyses.Prepare and complete full accounting cycle: GL maintenance, subledger reconciliations, journal entries, and finalization of the trial balance and financial statements.Prepare monthly management reports (Sales volume, Gross Margin, Commission, KPIs).Assist with cash flow reporting.Prepare and review account reconciliations for prepaids, accruals, fixed assets, and other balances with analysis or commentary.Reconcile intercompany and related-party transactions.Prepare bi-weekly payroll for your entity.Support forecasting, budgeting, and related financial processes.Assist external auditors by providing documentation and explanations as needed.Process miscellaneous accounts payable (Expense claims, leases, freight).Contribute to ad hoc analyses, special projects, and promote continuous team improvement. TMGNYRequirements3+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in dynamic and/or international environments.Demonstrated ownership mindset—taking accountability for accuracy and completeness of financial data.Strong analytical and investigative skills; you notice when something doesn't add up and proactively resolve it.Professional and clear communicator—listen effectively, able to explain findings, recommend and discuss solutions.High attention to detail and accuracy, balanced with awareness of the impact (eg. Impact on financial reports, KPIs or account balances).Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.); experience with Blue Link or similar ERP systems is a plus.Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills across diverse stakeholders.
