Your Role and Responsibilities

This position resides in Calgary/Toronto/Ottawa/Montreal/Vancouver commencing in September 2026. It is mandatory that all applicants are graduated from studies at a post‑secondary institution at the time of their start date. Please note that MBA and PhD candidates are not eligible for this program.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Collegiate degree in STEM field with a track‑record of academic success.
- Strong interpersonal skills that enhance collaboration and relationship building, while also managing dynamic workloads in an agile environment.
- Have initiative and passion to actively seek new knowledge and improve skills while embracing a growth mindset to assimilate diverse viewpoints.
- Demonstrated proficiency in one or more of the following Security Domains: Incident Response, Digital Forensics, Threat Hunting.
- Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills are essential – demonstrated ability to break down complex, ambiguous problems, evaluate multiple perspectives, and develop innovative, practical solutions.
- Knowledge of Operating Systems such as Microsoft, Linux and MAC.
- Ability to obtain a “Secret Clearance” from the Government of Canada.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Experience with AI functions and operations.
- Experience in some aspect of incident response planning.
- Knowledge of forensic analysis, memory analysis, and/or malware analysis.
- Knowledge of Cloud based infrastructure and how it relates to incident response.
- Knowledge of MITRE frameworks.
- Knowledge of File Systems such as NTFS, APFS, EXT4.
Other Relevant Job Details
Must have the ability to work in Canada without sponsorship.
This role will involve working with technology that is covered by Export Regulations sanctions. If you are a Foreign National from any of the following U.S. sanctioned countries (Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson, and Zaporizhia regions of Ukraine) on a work permit, you are not eligible for employment in this position.
Salary range: $67,575 – $95,400 per year, based on a full‑time schedule and your experience.
