Design, develop, and implement automation and monitoring systems that support the safe, resilient, and efficient operation of mission-critical data center infrastructure; Own and manage Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) across the full project lifecycle, including design, integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance; Lead the integration and commissioning of control systems, ensuring seamless interaction between power distribution, cooling systems, life safety systems, and other critical infrastructure; Develop, configure, and optimize control logic, system architectures, and communication frameworks to ensure reliable system performance and scalability; Provide hands-on support for troubleshooting, system diagnostics, and issue resolution during construction, commissioning, and operational phases; Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders—including engineering, construction, operations, and external vendors—to deliver coordinated and high-quality control system solutions; Drive continuous improvement initiatives by refining control strategies, standardizing system designs, and establishing best-in-class processes within the controls domain; Support project execution activities, including design reviews, vendor management, system testing, commissioning validation, and quality assurance; Ensure robust automation, reliable communications, and clear operational visibility across all critical systems; Implement and maintain monitoring solutions and data-driven insights to support operational decision-making and system optimization; Contribute to achieving 100% uptime and system resilience by ensuring all control systems are designed, integrated, and maintained to meet the demands of modern data center environments; What Sets You Apart

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; Equivalent engineering science plus 5+ years of relevant controls experience, OR 7+ years of relevant controls experience in lieu of a degree; 5+ years of experience with industrial controls in critical environment (data center, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, oil & gas, petrochemical, laboratory, power, water etc.); 4+ years of general project or vendor management experience (request for proposals, bidding, change orders, quality control, and RFI and submittal tracking) associated with construction and project execution. Preferred Qualifications

MS in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Controls/Automation); Experience designing, configuring, programming, installing, troubleshooting or servicing HVAC Controls or Electrical SCADA systems application specific controllers, software and networks. Experience using common industrial communication protocols (MQTT, BACnet and/or MODBUS); Demonstrated understanding of engineering documentation, electrical and mechanical diagrams, and standard operating procedures. Ability to manage multiple stakeholder deliverables, requirements, and navigate difficult situations; Experience designing data centers or critical MEP infrastructure Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE), or certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
