Job description
Join Nutrien in a temporary role as Director of Nitrogen & Phosphate Site Accounting. This Calgary or Saskatoon-based position focuses on controllership oversight and financial leadership.

In this pivotal role, you will provide high-level financial leadership and stewardship for Nutrien’s manufacturing facilities. Responsibilities include ensuring financial compliance, maintaining audit-ready documentation, and leading the site accounting teams. You will also partner closely with engineering and operations to oversee capital projects and drive improvements in financial processes.

Key Responsibilities: • Manage plant-level accounting and financial reporting • Ensure compliance with IFRS and Nutrien policies • Develop and oversee site accounting teams • Provide insights on production costs and financial governance • Engage with auditors to manage risks and compliance

Requirements: • CPA or equivalent professional accounting designation • 15+ years of experience in finance and controllership • 5+ years in a management role • In-depth knowledge of internal controls and capital accounting • Strong leadership skills in complex environments
