Job description
Join ERM as a Principal Consultant, Fisheries Biologist, where you'll shape fisheries assessments for major capital projects in Canada. Leverage your expertise and leadership in a dynamic environment.

In this pivotal role at ERM, you will guide fisheries assessments and offsetting programs associated with high-impact mining and energy projects. Your strong background in aquatic biology and regulatory knowledge will ensure project success across diverse environments. You will also play a key role in mentoring staff and fostering teamwork in strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: • Shape fisheries programs and oversee compliance activities • Act as advisor on habitat management and offsetting strategies • Mentor junior staff to develop ERM’s expertise • Implement field data collection and analysis • Contribute to proposal development and budgeting

Requirements: • B.Sc. in Fisheries Biology or related discipline • 6+ years of consulting experience • Proven leadership in managing complex projects • Strong safety commitment and field experience • Valid driver’s license for remote travel
