Job description

Tasks

  • Respond to calls and emails related to equipment failures or technical inquiries.
  • Diagnose issues, advise clients, and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Follow up on cases with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Write clear and detailed diagnostic reports.
  • Identify and document recurring or major issues.
  • Support the sales team with technical questions.
  • Manage and maintain the training room.
  • Write technical and training documentation.
  • Provide internal and client training.
  • Validate new products before they are put into production.
  • Review and manage technical bulletins.
  • Apply RMA procedures and quality assurance standards.
  • Perform any other tasks related to the position.

Job requirements

  • DEC in electrical engineering technology or electronics.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in technical service or after-sales support (mandatory).
  • Advanced bilingualism in French/English essential (50% of the time due to international clients and suppliers).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong customer orientation and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Availability for occasional travel outside of Canada.
  • Knowledge of high voltage and high frequency (important asset).
