Job description
Oversee First Nations consultation and engagement efforts for key infrastructure projects. Your specialized expertise will enhance project delivery and build sustainable relationships.

In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for leading engagement activities and ensuring compliance with Indigenous rights throughout construction and maintenance phases. Collaboratively work with the Infrastructure and Water Services team, addressing consultation requirements and fostering an inclusive environment for First Nations participation. Your leadership will support the successful execution of water-related projects.

Key Responsibilities: • Engage Indigenous communities to support project success • Coordinate comprehensive consultation plans and strategies • Advise on Indigenous rights and environmental risks • Manage relationship tracking and documentation • Facilitate conflict resolution effectively during projects

Requirements: • 9 years of direct experience in infrastructure management • Degree in relevant field is essential • Knowledge of First Nations governance and culture • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Valid BC Driver's Licence
