What youll be doing
You wont be stuck doing the same thing every day. This is real maintenance work:
- Install, tear down, and repair plant equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues before they become downtime
- Handle a mix of work: mechanical, basic electrical, welding, fab, general maintenance
- Read prints, layouts, wiring diagramsfigure it out and get it done
- Do inspections and preventative maintenance to keep things running smooth
- Work with outside contractors when needed and keep jobs on track
- Use your tools properly (and yeah, youll actually use them here)
What you need
- A Industrial Millwright license (non-negotiable)
- 25 years in an industrial setting
- Comfortable around production equipment and fast-paced environments
- Automotive/manufacturing experience is a bonus
- Able to work a continental shift (2 weeks days / 2 weeks nights, 6:306:30)
