Support the FP&A team during the business planning and reforecasting processes. ~ Provide essential financial analysis, both internal and external, along with necessary reports and information. ~ Collect and maintain data within a KPI framework to monitor and assess business performance and progress toward achieving short-term and long-term strategic plans. ~ Optimize the use of Group forecasting and reporting tools to assist the FP&A team in planning and decision-making, ensuring that Pellet operations requirements are well understood and integrated into the ongoing development of these tools. ~ Participate in ad hoc responsibilities and projects, offering support or assistance as directed by the line manager or senior finance management. ~ Collaborate with colleagues from various departments (operations, sales and logistics, finance) to analyse cost-saving opportunities, develop project plans, and monitor progress against expected results. Qualified accountant (CPA preferred) with over 5 years of experience in a business environment or in practice. ~ Essential experience in financial accounting and reporting. ~ Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong skills in the MS Office Suite. Familiarity with enterprise planning tools such as Planful and reporting/dashboarding tools like Power BI is advantageous. ~ Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus. ~ Ability to meet demanding deadlines and quickly adapt to changing business needs. ~ Strong attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of calculations and analyses. ~ capable of building and interrogating complex financial models and reports. ~ Apply today to help Drax discover the talented individuals we need to drive this change.
