We are transforming the way we work and want you to be a part of it. The Team Member will be responsible for inspecting, grading, sorting and processing of ferrous and/or non-ferrous scrap metals and maintains work location in orderly condition in order to achieve operational goals and objectives.
About the Role We are looking for a Junior Analyst to join the Triple M Commercial team, based out of our Brampton Kenview location, with travel to Hamilton. This is an opportunity to learn the scrap metal business from the ground up, working across commercial reporting, pricing, costing, and market analysis. You'll be exposed to the full breadth of how a complex, multi-site recycling business operates — and over time take ownership of recurring reports and analyses that directly support trading and executive decision-making. Compensation $55,000-$62,500
Key Responsibilities
Support recurring monthly and quarterly reporting, including profitability tracking, management reports, and board materials
Help maintain and improve dashboards (Power BI) used across the commercial team
Assist with ferrous market reporting and the data work that sits behind it — pricing, freight, sales logic, and KPI tracking
Pull, clean, and organize data from internal systems and external sources to support analysis
Take on increasing ownership of specific reports and analyses as you build industry knowledge
Collaborate with traders, finance, and operations to support commercial projects
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets. Power BI experience an asset but not required.
Solid analytical and problem-solving instincts, able to break down a messy question into something workable
Clear written and verbal communication; able to present findings in a way that's useful to non-technical audience
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to effectively manage multiple deadlines
Curious and self-motivated — willing to ask questions, learn industry concepts, and grow into more complex work overtime
Prior co-op, internship, or 1–2 years of analyst experience is an asset, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
