Role
About the Role We’re looking for a Manager, Construction Projects to lead the planning and execution of clinic construction and renovation projects across Canada. This role is responsible for managing projects end-to-end, from design and planning through to delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver high-quality clinic environments that support operational and patient experience goals.
What You’ll Do
Manage multiple construction and renovation projects simultaneously, from design through final delivery Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure projects are executed effectively Partner with internal teams including Operations, Finance, and Marketing to align on project requirements Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards Lead tendering processes and contract negotiations with external partners Identify and resolve risks related to timelines, costs, and project execution Prepare and present project updates and progress reports to leadership Support and guide internal construction team activities and respond to clinic-related requests
What You Bring
5+ years of experience in commercial multi-site construction project management Experience in medical, dental, or healthcare environments is preferred Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, project management, or a related field Strong knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and construction best practices Experience managing both internal teams and external contractors/vendors Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Procore, AutoCAD, or similar Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Willingness to travel across Canada as required based on project needs Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset
