Job description
Elevate your finance career as Senior Manager at CMHA Toronto, where you’ll lead a talented accounting team and drive impactful financial improvements. Join a mission-focused organization dedicated to mental health and support the growth of essential services.

As part of the Finance team, you'll collaborate with the Chief Finance Officer to ensure accurate reporting and enhance financial systems. This is a leadership role aimed at streamlining operations and nurturing talent within the accounting team, including managing payroll. You will play a crucial part in fostering a work environment that values collaboration and change as we serve the community’s mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities: • Guide and develop the Accounting Team and Payroll • Ensure financial information accuracy and integrity • Manage month-end and year-end close processes • Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable • Lead year-end audit activities with external auditors

Requirements: • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field • CPA designation required • 5 to 7 years of accounting experience • 2 years of people management experience • Advanced Excel & experience with Netsuite preferred
