Job description
Servus Credit Union is looking to hire an Investment & Planning Consultant to work in our Ponoka, Rimbey, and Blackfalds branches. Responsibilities

Uncover full financial needs of members, provide solutions, and/or refer to appropriate advisors. Support and facilitate the financial planning experience for members. Be proactive in pursuing external/internal business opportunities by retaining existing members and actively soliciting new business, reviewing marketing data to determine new market potential, and leveraging opportunities with existing members through branch or telephone communication. Establish and implement a sales plan focused on retaining and attracting new members with mid/high net worth, developing internal referral sources and centers of influence, improving profitability with existing members, and developing business from existing members. Identify staff developmental opportunities and provide effective coaching and technical training. Provide coaching and mentoring to assist team members with skill development. Ensure all corporate policies, procedures and guidelines are adhered to, including compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements to mitigate risk to the Credit Union and members. Qualifications

Experience

Minimum five years of financial advisory sales experience and thorough knowledge of financial planning, products, policies, and operations. Education and Training

Post‑secondary diploma or degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience; Investment Funds In Canada (IFIC) certification; MFDA license; a thorough understanding of financial products and services is an asset. Employment Eligibility

Must successfully pass a criminal background check, reference check, and credit check; hold a mutual funds license and be registered with Aviso Wealth; additional licensing or registration processes are required. Benefits
