Job description
Become a part of HUB International as a Senior Underwriter focusing on Healthcare and Life Sciences, fully remote. Utilize your medical liability underwriting experience to influence our growth.

In this essential role with HUB’s MGA division, you will be responsible for underwriting complex risks and new business in the healthcare and life sciences sectors. The ideal professional will possess a background in commercial lines underwriting and a passion for relationship building to achieve production targets. Join us to mentor junior underwriters while driving your portfolio's success.

Key Responsibilities: • Analyze risk and negotiate terms for new and renewal business • Cultivate broker partnerships with prompt service and quotations • Identify opportunities for growth within the market • Maintain compliance with internal underwriting policies • Submit comprehensive documentation to carriers

Requirements: • 5+ years underwriting experience in healthcare fields • Active CIP or in pursuit of necessary qualifications • Level 2 broker license or RIBO eligibility • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities • Up to 25% travel for in-person meetings
